A witch on a broomstick and her cute, faithful black cat needs the player's assistance collecting candy on a windy path through a dark forest. To remove the pieces from a floating board, the player must match three or more of the same type of hard candy in a vertical or horizontal line. The game includes a variety of candies, such as flower, ring, round, and swirl candies.
A pop-up alert informs the player of their mission before the start of each level. At any time, they can review the tasks for a mission in the top center of the screen. They must complete the mission before their moves run out. The game displays the number of moves left in the top-right corner. When the player completes their mission, they are rewarded with a bright golden star.
Examine the placement of the candies on the board. To complete a line, swap a candy that matches two adjacent identical candies within one move with a non-matching candy. To collect the mission candies, make more lines of three or more candies. To collect candies faster, use power-ups.
Candy Match Saga 2 does not award boosters for matching three or more candies. They must instead earn these abilities over time. One booster removes a row and column of candies; another drags candies away at random; and two blow up different sections.
